Where do we find happiness?

I find in North America we often mistake materialism for happiness. We always want the best cars, homes, phones and cloths. We work our butts off to get these things to find it is still not enough. Like many I have been searching for that “thing” that’s going to be great, that “thing” that when we get it we will finally be satisfied in life and will no longer search. The truth my friends is there is no such “thing”. It is made up and does not exist! Yes that’s right I said it. As you might tell by the dates from my previously blogs you might notice it has been over a year since I last posted. Well I guess you can say that I was searching for that “thing”. I have come to this realization that when you’re not happy in your life, when you’re not being honest with yourself you will begin to look for that “thing”. So I guess you can say the last year of my life has been a bit of a growing pain (not a bad thing). You learn most about yourself when you go through heart ache and hardship. Sometimes you have to experience what you don’t want to find what you do want. So join me on my journey of life, where I will share with you my experiences that will help me grow and reveal my inner happiness that I often mistake as that “thing”.
